In our never ending battle for truth, justice, and the most creative way, TV Writer.Com proudly presents yet another new feature.
The TV Writer.Com Peer Production Place is a complete unto itself MySpace type community site (okay, some people might say "ripoff," but you know what we think of them) that allows members to create and manage your own personal websites, complete with blogs, podcasts, videos, friends, and all the rest of the social interaction that comes with it.
The TV Writer.Com Peer Production Place is absolutely free, and you can even add widgets enabling your friends to get to it on any and all other websites you may have, including other blogs and - yes - even MySpace.
More than anything else we do, we at TV Writer.Com want to empower your personal creativity. Being able to share what you write (in your blog), record (in your podcast), and shoot the hell out of (in your video) is what empowerment is all about. And as a Peer Production Place member you can record and upload your photos, podcasts and videocasts in real time via your personal blog page.
Gatekeepers are history. Big Media is fighting a losing battle. We hope that every single one of you will communicate your creative dreams right here - where, thanks to the wonders of Web 2.0 and RSS Feeds, everyone everywhere can learn about what you've done, visit it, love it, and link to it.
Who knows? You might even find a way to make a buck or two off your talent. Or get co-opted for Really Big Bucks as Big Media clutches you to its bosom in its (much-deserved) death throes.
If this sounds as good to you as it does to us, your next step is easy. All you've got to do is:
To use your hot new account all you need is to have faith, breathe deeply, and:
Hint: After your enter your account go to your Blog. From there you can upload or record just about anything!
We know it's a little awkward to get here now, but we promise that as soon as enough users have proved this out, the links will be all over our Front Page!
